WA: Any interest in a South Sound LB Fest?

From: dvn2rckr (dvn2rckr@yahoo.com) | Date: 2002-10-03 01:01:25 UTC
Hello fellow WA letterboxers,

Is there any interest in participating in a South Puget Sound
Letterbox Quest Fest on 2 Nov 02? If there is enough interest, I
found the perfect 'slightly-larger-than-most-others-in-the-area'
park for it in Lakewood (with all sorts of nooks & crannies &
interesting & odd history associated with it) and will be more than
happy to help coordinate such an event.

Let me know what you think. Even you 'LB enthusiast-LBNA-website-
lurkers' are welcome to respond...I know you're out there, I see
your stamps in the logbooks around this area! ;)
Hope to hear from you soon,

Bethany
aka 'dvn2r ckr'

P.S. For the shy folks: If you don't want to post to the main
page, click on my email address and write me directly.

Absolutely. I missed the Portland gathering. I will be out of town
the week before . Believe it or not visiting San Antonio on
business. Not a letterbox for miles around there. (Hint hint you
Texas folks)

I am sure the Seattle clan will be eager for an outing as long as
there is a good ice cream source near by. ( Down in Steilacoom if I
remember right)

I might be inclined to visit, but only if everyone promises not to
whip me with wet noodles! =)

It depends, ramen or capellini? ;)

Also, I apologize in advance for all of the poorly carved stamps in
the area (perhaps that's why so many of my LBs are missing now?--the
poorly carved stamp police came and put them out of their misery!) :)

I've been hunting down letterboxes in the Seattle for the last week
or so, and I've got to say that these new letterboxes have some very
good stamps in them!

I'd tell you which ones, but I'd probably get flogged for picking
favorites again.... =)

You haven't found any of mine, yet... Then you won't be picking
favorites, probably just favorite 'least favorites'. ;)
